There will be food, drinks, fun and a chance to see new TF tenants. All flats are now full and other businesses will (hopefully) be in the bays.
• Straw-Bale Design & Construction Workshop II

Saturday, July 26 from 9 am - 3 pm.
This is the 2nd offering of the Lincoln Green Building Group workshop on the various uses of STRAW for environmentally friendly, sustainable construction. The event is a series of power-point presentations to provide information on straw-bale construction.
Dress casually and comfortably. Bring something to take notes with. Remember to bring your own snacks, lunch and beverage. There's a small kitchen refrigerator in the building.
The cost for the event is $40 which you can pay at the door.

• Bring Your Dog to Work Day!

Turbine Flats is encouraging all dog owners to bring their pets to work this Friday!
During lunch, Matthew will provide the meat and all you need to do is provide a side dish and beverage. And instead of tipping the cook, you can tip the Capital Humane Society. They will be on hand to discuss what your donations will go towards and they will bring some adoptable pets.

• Clinton Elementary School ART SHOW!

The art students of Clinton Elementary School provided class work for the walls of Turbine Flats. Students, teachers, art lovers, and anyone else are invited to the building for an a special ART OPENING.
All of the work is for sale for only $5 each! Proceeds go to supporting the Clinton Elementary School Art Program.

Southeast Community College Entrepreneurship Center & LPS Entrepreneurship Focus Program Open House. Tours of the facility will be available as well as a presentation by a keynote speaker. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Tuesday, October 16th 10:00AM (Turbine Flats Project - 2124 Y St)
The Turbine Flats Project will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. A brief welcome speech will be given by Mayor Chris Beutler and tours of Turbine Flats will be available. Punch and cookies will be served.
Wednesday, October 17th 5:00PM - 6:30PM (UNL Tech Park - 4701 Innovation Dr)
Open house at the UNL Tech park featuring keynote speaker Robert Gordman. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Friday, October 19th 5:30PM - 9:00PM (The Turbine Flats Project - 2124 Y St)
The Turbine Flats Project and tenant businesses will be hosting an open house event. A surprise keynote speaker as well as music, food, and fun a' plenty!
